We do not recommend listing an occupied property. Based on our experience, expecting current residents to maintain "show condition" while preparing to move is often unrealistic. Homes that aren’t properly staged tend to attract fewer high-quality tenants.

Additionally, RentSmart utilizes a self-showing model, allowing pre-screened applicants to tour the property unaccompanied at their convenience. This creates unnecessary risk and liability for both current tenants and property owners in an occupied home.

If you use our Tenant Onboarding service, we prepare and execute your custom lease, making the transition seamless while keeping everything aligned with your existing processes.

Leads seamlessly move through our self-guided viewing, application, and screening process at their own pace. If they need assistance, our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST to answer questions and provide help.
