I understand that I am paying RentSmart directly for the creation of my reusable RentSmart SmartMatch Profile. This is not a fee paid to any landlord, property owner, property manager, or housing provider, and no landlord, property owner, property manager, or housing provider receives any portion of this fee.
I understand that my SmartMatch Profile is not purchased for any specific property. Once created and eligible for sharing, I may use RentSmart to share my SmartMatch Profile with one or more landlords, property owners, or property managers for up to 30 days. Landlords, property owners, and property managers may access my SmartMatch Profile at no cost to them.
I authorize RentSmart and its screening providers to obtain, use, verify, process, and share information necessary to create my SmartMatch Profile, including identity information, contact information, rental history, employment and income information, credit information, eviction history, criminal history where permitted by law, public records, consumer reports, tenant screening reports, and other information I provide or authorize RentSmart to obtain.
I understand that inaccurate, incomplete, unverifiable, or inconsistent information, or my failure to complete required profile steps, may delay, limit, prevent, or affect the creation, validation, scoring, or sharing of my SmartMatch Profile, without refund once I submit payment.
I understand that my SmartMatch Profile will display the date through which the profile information is current. I understand that the profile is valid for sharing for 30 days from the date it is created or last refreshed. After that period, I may purchase an optional renewal if I want RentSmart to obtain updated screening information and refresh my profile. RentSmart will not charge a renewal fee unless I separately authorize a renewal purchase.
I understand and agree that RentSmart may begin creating my SmartMatch Profile immediately after I submit payment. I understand that the SmartMatch Profile Fee is non-refundable once I submit payment, including if I change my mind, never use the profile, do not complete all profile steps, do not provide required information, do not share the profile, do not find a property I want, do not find a property that accepts RentSmart Profiles, am not selected, am not approved, or do not secure housing.
I understand that creation of a SmartMatch Profile does not guarantee validation, scoring, approval, selection, lease signing, move-in, or acceptance by any landlord, property owner, or property manager. I am not purchasing a specific score, recommendation, approval, ranking, or rental outcome.
I agree that I will not dispute, charge back, or reverse the SmartMatch Profile Fee based solely on changing my mind, not using the profile, failing to complete profile steps, not finding a property I want, not finding a property that accepts RentSmart Profiles, not being selected, not being approved, or not obtaining housing.
I understand that nothing in these terms limits any rights I may have under federal, state, or local law that cannot legally be waived.
